Delegate with confidence

The METS Stakepool is a service provider or network node with a public Internet Protocol (IP) address for ADA holders to delegate to and earn rewards.  The more stake or ADA that is delegated to METS, the greater chance the pool has of being selected as a slot leader.  Within the Cardano ecosystem, slot leaders are responsible for creating and confirming transaction blocks to be added to the blockchain.  Each time METS is selected as slot leader, the pool is rewarded with ADA.  The rewarded ADAs are shared between the METS stakepool and the pool delegators.

To delegate your ADA to METS from your Daedalus wallet you can:

  1. Go to “Delegation Center” at the top left corner of the page (just below the “wallets” section)

  2. You will see your wallet at the delegation center. Click “delegate” button and there will be three more steps to complete your delegation

  3. Select your wallet and click continue

  4. Select the METS pool. You can directly search the stake pool by typing "METS" in the search bar

  5. And finally confirm your delegation

The Yoroi wallet can be used to send, receive, and store ADA, Cardano’s underlying cryptocurrency. It’s simple, fast and secure. Yoroi is the first product developed by EMURGO. There are Chrome and Firefox extension versions, an Android app, and an iOS app. It follows best practices for software in the industry including a comprehensive security audit. Daedalus and Yoroi are complements to what they try to achieve. Yoroi looks to be a day to day wallet for Cardano users and your gateway to the financial world.

Yoroi will support staking through delegation after the release of Shelley,
in the same way as Daedalus.
You will be able to list staking pools and select METS to delegate your ADA within Yoroi.
